We have an opening on our automated polishing line and are looking for a detail-oriented 1st-shift operator to run the line, learn basic maintenance with training, and keep quality consistent from start to finish. This is hands-on production work. You will operate automated equipment, watch the process closely, catch issues early, and keep the line running safely and cleanly. What you will do Operate our custom automated polishing line and, with training, help maintain it Package products once tested Monitor work visually and dimensionally using measuring equipment and jigs Check surface finish, dimensions, and overall quality throughout the run Perform routine line checks, basic upkeep, and basic maintenance, and report problems promptly Follow all quality procedures and work instructions Keep the work area clean and orderly Follow all safety procedures Perform other duties as assigned What we are looking for Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step verbal and written directions Comfort running automated equipment and staying focused on quality Visual acuity and hand dexterity for inspection and packaging Color and depth perception for selected tasks Ability to perform routine computer data entry and queries Ability to work well in a team Basic mechanical aptitude required; electrical aptitude preferred Basic math and measuring skills Ability to read, write, and communicate in English High school diploma or GED Physical requirements and work environment Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs Prolonged standing and/or sitting during an 8-10 hour shift, with frequent reaching, pulling, and bending Temperature-controlled work area Schedule 1st shift Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.
