Production/Assembly Worker- Part Time Falex Corporation Sugar Grove, IL Job Details Part-time $19 - $23 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Dimensional inspection English High school diploma or GED Manufacturing Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary Falex Corporation — Sugar Grove, IL Falex has been making precision test equipment and specimens for nearly a century. We do the hand assembly work in-house, including manufacturing and testing, and we are looking for a careful, dependable Assembly Worker to join the production team. You will perform varied production tasks under the close supervision of the Supervisor or Lead.
This is hands-on work:
wiring, assembling, and testing and packaging products that have to meet tight quality standards. What you will do Assemble, wire and package our products Check work visually and dimensionally against blueprints, engineering specifications, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings Use hand tools, soldering equipment, hand trucks, and assembly/test equipment as required Follow all quality procedures and work instructions Keep your work area clean and orderly Follow all safety procedures Perform other duties as assigned What we are looking for Ability to follow verbal and written multi-step directions for semi-complex tasks Good visual acuity and hand dexterity for packaging and assembling a variety of materials Color and depth perception for selected tasks Ability to perform routine computer data entry and queries Ability to work well in a team Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred Basic math and measuring skills Ability to read, write, and communicate in English High school diploma or GED Physical requirements and work environment Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs Prolonged standing and/or sitting during an 8 hour shift, with frequent reaching, pulling, and bending Temperature-controlled work area Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.
