3005089892-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Heidelberg Materials is hiring now for a Manufacturing Technician to support safe, efficient production of cement and building materials. In this role, you'll operate and monitor plant equipment, perform basic mechanical checks, and follow strict safety and quality procedures. You'll work with a collaborative team to keep production on schedule, complete inspections and documentation, and help troubleshoot issues. This is a hands-on role in an industrial environment with opportunities to learn advanced production processes, grow technical skills, and build a long-term career in a stable, sustainability-focused company. Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing and processing equipment for cement and aggregates Follow and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout standards Perform routine inspections, basic mechanical checks, and housekeeping of work areas Record production data, quality checks, and equipment readings accurately Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and communicating problems to maintenance Support quality control by following specifications and reporting deviations Work collaboratively with plant operators, maintenance, and supervisors to meet production goals Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Industrial equipment operation Basic mechanical troubleshooting Process monitoring and control Safety and OSHA compliance Lockout/tagout procedures Quality control and documentation Reading gauges and instrumentation Basic computer/data entry skills Preventive maintenance basics Communication and teamwork
