Job Description Our Med-Tech client is looking for a Manufacturing Test Technician to help build and test innovative medical devices that improve patient lives around the world. Test Technicians are a hands-on technical expert who plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of electronic assemblies and finished medical devices. Partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams, this position tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves products throughout the production process while helping solve complex manufacturing challenges. This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and make a direct impact on operational excellence and product quality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys tackling technical challenges, and is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality products to customers. The day to day responsibilities will include:
  • Execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), Functional Test Procedures (FTPs), and production validation testing.
  • Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and manufacturing issues to support production throughput and quality objectives.
  • Support engineering builds, pilot runs, and new product introductions ( NPI ).
  • Collect, document, and analyze failure data to identify trends and support root cause investigations.
  • Support Quality and Engineering investigations through detailed technical documentation and product evaluation.
  • Assist in the development, validation, and continuous improvement of test methods, fixtures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.
