Job Description

Currently seeking CNC & Manufacturing Equipment Technicianfor a temporary to permanent position in Attleboro, MA. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently on equipment issues, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities of CNC & Manufacturing Equipment Technician:
  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems based on schedules and operational priorities
  • Respond quickly and independently to equipment breakdowns and production needs
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues
  • Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals and other documentation
  • Fabricate or modify basic parts or components needed to make repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation
  • Support equipment set-up, installation, relocation and improvement
  • Work with outside contractors, vendors or technicians while completing work onsite
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Provide support on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned Requirements of CNC & Manufacturing Equipment Technician
  • Minimum High School Diploma, or GED required; Technical/Vocational School or Associates degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience preventative maintenance on industrial or manufacturing equiment
  • Previous experience with pneumatics and basic hydraulics
  • Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks and respond to requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb throughout the shift
Hours:
7:00am-3:30pm
Monday-Friday Pay Rate:
up to $30.00/hr
