SCHEDULE
  • 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm Monday
  • Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am
  • noon) as required.
LOCATION
  • 270 Samuel Barnet Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Repair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments.
Cleaning and lubrication of embroidery machines. Repairs of any production equipment. PM on all machinery. Daily record keeping of machine tasks performed. Training Apprentice Technician as needed. Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to follow verbal directions. Ability to read instructions in English. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks. Ability to work with tools and machinery. Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms. Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills. Ability to move about the facility. Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to moderate noise level.
VISION REQUIREMENT
Close and distance vision. Vision to be able to thread a needle. Color vision.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Closed toe footwear required when entering the Production Floor (as needed). Safety Glasses (as needed)
