100% Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to support manufacturing operations in a technical production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with assembly, manufacturing processes, testing, technical documentation, hand tools, and precision measurement equipment. In this role, you will build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies while following established procedures, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions accurately, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Build, process, assemble, and test subassemblies and assemblies according to established procedures and specifications. Interpret and follow established manufacturing processes, work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical prints, diagrams, specifications, and manufacturer manuals. Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and industrial equipment as required. Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurement functions accurately. Inspect work and ensure completed assemblies meet established quality and manufacturing requirements. Identify and communicate nonconformances, defects, or process issues to management and Quality Assurance. Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and established procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation. Support production requirements and perform other duties as assigned. Work overtime and weekends as required to meet production and business needs. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years of additional education and/or relevant manufacturing, technical, mechanical, assembly, or production experience. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow established written instructions and technical drawings. Ability to perform basic math and measurement functions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to recognize and communicate nonconformances to management and Quality Assurance. Ability to safely handle materials and follow established safety procedures. Ability to work 100% onsite in Hanover, MD . Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar tools. Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience working from engineering drawings, prints, diagrams, specifications, and technical work instructions. Aerospace, space, defense, mechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or other technical manufacturing experience. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work habits. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
