Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and compliant manufacturing of machined products. Your expertise will support the seamless operation of manufacturing processes, adherence to strict regulatory standards, and maintenance of a safe working environment. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and material handling tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines Assist with the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of machinery used in production Handle industrial chemicals safely, including proper storage, transfer, and disposal following chemical agent handling protocols Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and respiratory protection requirements Support packaging operations by preparing materials, inspecting finished products, and ensuring quality control measures are met Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing areas to uphold cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance Use material handling equipment such as forklifts to move raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility Document production activities accurately, including batch records, incident reports, and inventory logs Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify process improvements and eliminate waste Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate manufacturing equipment Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus Understanding of safety protocols including PPE usage, respiratory protection, and chemical safety procedures Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling techniques will be considered an asset Join our team to be part of a vibrant environment where safety, quality, and innovation drive everything we do.
