Machine & Equipment Cleaning Technician - Hands-On Role with
Long-Term Potential Pay Rate:
$20/hour
Schedule:
Wednesday-Sunday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM (Mondays & Tuesdays Off)
Assignment Length:
Temp-to-Hire Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with equipment? Our client is hiring a Machine & Equipment Cleaning Technician for a growing food manufacturing operation in Southern Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting machinery, and keeping equipment operating at peak performance. These positions pay $20/hour and are temp-to-hire opportunities . This is a physically active role where you'll clean, inspect, disassemble, and reassemble production equipment while helping maintain food safety standards. If you enjoy working with machinery and take pride in attention to detail, this could be a great fit for you.
Typical daily duties:
Clean and sanitize production equipment according to food safety standards Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble manufacturing machinery Identify worn or damaged components and report maintenance concerns Assist with equipment changeovers and production readiness Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment What we're looking for: Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Manufacturing, maintenance, sanitation, automotive, construction, or related experience is helpful but not required To be considered for this Machine & Equipment Cleaning Technician opening in York County , please contact us using any of the methods below.
