Job Description
Custom Orthotics Production Technician Summit Labs Position Summary Summit Labs is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Custom Orthotics Production Technician. No previous orthotics experience is required. We provide complete on-the-job training. In this position, you will learn how to manufacture custom foot orthotics from start to finish. This is a hands-on production position that involves working with specialized equipment, tools, and materials to produce custom-made products according to individual work orders and specifications. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to details, works well with their hands, and is interested in learning a specialized skill. Responsibilities Manufacture and finish custom foot orthotics according to work orders and specifications. Learn and perform the different stages of the orthotic production process. Operate grinders, sanders, presses, and other production equipment after proper training. Grind, shape, trim, glue, finish, and assemble orthotic components. Apply top covers, padding, and other materials as required by each work order. Accurately follow work orders and production instructions. Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, appearance, and workmanship. Maintain consistent quality while meeting daily production expectations. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Properly handle and store production materials. Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-training requirements. Communicate with supervisors and other production team members when questions or quality concerns arise. Assist in other areas of the production lab as needed. Continue learning additional production processes as skills and experience develop. Qualifications No previous orthotics experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right person.
