We are seeking an experienced Production Technician with Plastic Injection Molding experience on 2nd and 3rd shift to support our growing manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong understanding of injection molding processes, machine operation, troubleshooting, quality inspections, and continuous improvement. The Production Technician plays a key role in ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and meets customer quality standards while minimizing downtime and scrap. Production Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position $25.00 to $30.00 /hour Full Time work available Various shifts available (Monday through Friday) Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding equipment. Verify machine settings and process parameters to maintain consistent production quality. Perform in-process quality inspections, measurements, and testing. Monitor machine performance, production rates, and scrap levels. Assist with machine startups, shutdowns, mold changes, and production changeovers. Identify and resolve routine process and equipment issues.
Production Technician Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to perform quality inspections and document results. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Preferred:
Technical training or degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience with process monitoring, machine troubleshooting, and production optimization. Knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement practices.
