We are looking for a dependable and motivated Paint Line Hanger to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will help ensure our paint line operates safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on quality, productivity, and customer value . Job Responsibilities Review work orders to determine which parts should be hung on the paint line for the most efficient production flow. Follow established procedures for hanging parts safely and efficiently. Inspect parts before they enter the wash and paint booth and identify defects or issues that may affect quality. Prepare parts for painting, including plugging and racking parts as required. Monitor the paint line and troubleshoot problems as they occur. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Participate in quality programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Train as a backup sprayer, as needed. Assist with other tasks within the department or across departments to support production and business needs. Qualifications Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, safety rules, work instructions, and operating and maintenance instructions. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to work overtime when approved and scheduled. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist. Perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, arms, and upper body. Frequently grasp, handle, plug, rack, and manipulate parts and materials. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds . Safely handle and position parts of varying sizes, shapes, and weights. Work around manufacturing equipment, moving parts, noise, dust, heat, and industrial coatings/chemicals while following required safety procedures. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Previous powder coating or paint line experience preferred. Training will be provided to qualified candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
