Job Description

SMT Line Operator - 2nd
Shift Shift:
2nd Shift | 1:00 PM - 10:00
PM Schedule:
Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented SMT Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. The SMT Operator will be responsible for programming and operating SMT equipment, loading components into feeders, monitoring component placement, performing quality checks, and ensuring circuit boards move properly through the reflow oven. This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires attention to detail and the ability to remain on your feet for an 8-hour shift. Responsibilities Program and operate SMT production equipment. Set up the SMT line and prepare machines for production. Load electronic components into feeders accurately and efficiently. Verify that the correct parts are loaded into the appropriate feeders. Monitor the SMT line to ensure components are placed correctly. Check boards during production to confirm all required parts are present and properly positioned. Monitor products as they move through the reflow oven. Perform visual inspections and quality checks throughout the production process. Maintain a production rate of approximately 22 units per hour , based on production requirements. Identify and report missing, incorrect, or improperly placed components. Make basic adjustments and troubleshoot production issues when needed. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Keep the workstation and production area clean and organized. Qualifications Previous SMT, electronics manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Experience with SMT programming or machine setup is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify component or placement issues. Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications. Good hand-eye coordination. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness and ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per shift . Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work Schedule 2nd
Shift:
1:00 PM - 10:00 PM This is a full-time position on the second shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining consistent quality and productivity throughout the shift.
