Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support GMP manufacturing and packaging activities for pharmaceutical products at the Antares Pharma Minnesota Operations Facility (APMOF).
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine manufacturing and packaging activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Supporting the assembly, final packaging, and inspection of pharmaceutical products.
- Operating manual and automated manufacturing equipment while following established procedures and quality requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring product traceability in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGMP requirements.
- Supporting material flow throughout the production area to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Following all applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), environmental, health, safety, and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Receive and distribute materials and supplies within the manufacturing area.
- Assemble pharmaceutical products according to current SOPs and WIs while meeting established manufacturing goals and performance metrics.
- Perform final packaging and inspection activities for manufactured pharmaceutical products.
- Move materials and assembled devices within the Production area.
- Maintain uninterrupted loading and unloading of materials and assembled devices from multiple stations within automated assembly processes.
- Operate and interact with automated manufacturing equipment, including performing basic fault resets and monitoring material inputs and outputs.
- Enter equipment setup and production run information accurately.
- Ensure the quality of products and production documentation by adhering to all manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Complete all assigned training requirements within established timelines.
- Maintain accurate shop floor paperwork, training records, and other required documentation in accordance with GDP and cGMP guidelines.
- Follow all environmental, health, safety, and company requirements while performing production activities.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Understanding of the importance of documentation, data integrity, and product traceability.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) preferred.
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and consistently meet manufacturing and quality requirements.
- Ability to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning.
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing for extended periods, walking, and working with hands.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience working in a controlled or clean room environment preferred.
- Experience working with manufacturing or assembly equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP, GDP, and quality systems preferred.
- Experience in biology and/or chemical laboratory environments may be required, where applicable.
Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning.
- Work may involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and performing hands-on manufacturing activities.
- Some lifting and movement of materials up to 30 lbs. may be required.
- Work environment typically has low to moderate noise levels.
- Environmental health and safety requirements apply to all manufacturing and laboratory activities, as applicable.
