00am - 5:00pm 10 - 28 hours/weekOVERVIEW
Working as Part-time Manufacturing Engineer Technician, you will provide technical assistance to the engineering team regarding manufacturing, quality, heat treat, engineering and customer service departments. You will work with a variety of projects including, preparation for future facility layouts, manufacturing process improvements and creation of tooling and equipment for our various manufacturing processes.RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Troubleshooting manufacturing processes, machinery, tooling and gaging o Providing effective recommendations for the improvement of operational methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality o Assisting with manufacturing facility layout using LEAN manufacturing principles o Promoting and implementing continuous improvement programsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o 18 years of age or older o Possess or are working towards a degree in engineering, mechatronics or CNC o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Exhibit strong orientation toward continuous improvement o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
o Prior experiencing using CAD (Solidworks/AutoDesk, Inventor) o Experience using LEAN manufacturing principles o Previous experience with manufacturing facility layoutABOUT US
