is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Rework Technician to join our shop team. This is a hands-on position responsible for reworking and preparing components for customer repurposing, handling materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and accurately documenting daily production. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, works well with others, and is comfortable using hand and power tools. Experience with a forklift is a plus, but we are willing to provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates. This position reports directly to the Shop Manager or equivalent. What You'll Do Rework and prepare components for customer repurposing. Move, secure, build, load, and unload materials and crates. Safely use hand and power tools. Operate a forklift and other shop equipment as trained. Track and record daily production numbers and completed work. Inspect components and finished work for quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Sweep and clean shop areas as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA-related safety practices. Read and understand safety warnings, instructions, and guidelines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Review daily production schedules and assigned tasks. Complete specialized tasks with on-the-job training as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous shop, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, or industrial experience is a plus. Forklift experience preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team. Ability to remain alert and focused throughout the workday. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds . Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and move materials as required. Ability to safely operate tools and shop equipment. Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Schedule may offer some flexibility. Occasional overtime may be available based on workload. No regular weekend schedule. Why Join PERTECH? Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
