This role involves supporting the manufacturing process by assembling, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and components to ensure high-quality output. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with factory environments, and a commitment to safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing setting, contributing directly to operational efficiency and product excellence. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery and tools, including power tools and hand tools, following established procedures and safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and specifications to assemble components accurately. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality standards. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and material movement within the facility. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards in production environments. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while managing safety protocol adherence. Assist in warehouse activities including inventory management, material handling with forklifts, and storage organization. Document production activities accurately and interpret assembly instructions for efficient workflow. Qualifications Prior experience in factory or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Proficiency with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting manufacturing documents. Mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment. Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is advantageous. Understanding of safety standards in production settings, including manual handling and heavy lifting protocols. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in assembly and quality control tasks. Ability to work effectively on manual tasks requiring physical stamina across multiple shifts. Basic knowledge of manufacturing management systems or production documentation is beneficial.
