Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly, production, and quality assurance processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and adherence to safety standards to ensure efficient operations. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, including forklifts and power tools, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Interpret and follow production documents, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately to assemble components. Use measuring instruments and hand tools to perform precise mechanical assembly and quality checks. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while maintaining safety standards at all times. Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing workspace, including warehouse areas. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production targets efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Document production activities accurately, including recording measurements and verifying conformity with specifications. Assist in managing inventory levels of parts and materials within the warehouse. Requirements Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, power tools, and measuring instruments. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions. Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical assembly and maintenance procedures. Experience working in manufacturing facilities with a focus on lean manufacturing principles. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and quality control. Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment. Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is desirable.
