Job Description
Hiring for third only / night shift at this time. $1,500 Sign on/Retention Bonus Offered. Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. Each year, the company manufactures thousands of miles of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution, as well as medium low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors. We also produce a comprehensive range of optical fibers, copper cables and connectivity for voice, video and data transmission for the telecommunication sector. Monitor plastic extrusion or stranding lines while running to ensure quality/timely production of cables. Perform machine startups, changeovers and operator preventative maintenance as required. Perform required measurement checks to ensure cables are manufactured to quality specifications. Proactively report any production shortfalls, quality nonconformances, and equipment issues swiftly. Follows all safety, personal protective equipment, and regulatory requirements.
