Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment, including forklifts and power tools, to ensure optimal performance. Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately assemble components. Conduct measurements using precision instruments to verify product dimensions and quality standards. Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to move materials safely within the production area. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with safety standards in production. Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Support assembly line operations by managing production flow and coordinating with team members. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly, adjustments, or repairs as needed. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse environment. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience with forklift operation and warehouse management. Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting manufacturing documentation. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience in assembly line operations, including managing production teams or supporting process improvements. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control procedures. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles to support continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork across departments.
