Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active North Carolina SLP License required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly preferred Previous experience with school-aged children in an educational environment Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and teamwork Solid grasp of IEP development and implementation, as well as therapy documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Attend required meetings, effectively contributing to multidisciplinary teams Adapt therapy approaches to fit the individual learning styles and needs of each student
