Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring for Entry-Level Line Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. As a Line Operator, you will assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production lines to manufacture fabric according to customer specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Production Assist with the setup, operation, and monitoring of production lines. Review work orders and assist with line clearances at shift start and product changeovers. Verify product specifications and machine settings with guidance as needed. Monitor line operations and notify supervisors of equipment issues or production abnormalities. Support daily production activities as directed by leadership. Assist with preventive maintenance activities and equipment checks. Maintain recycling and reclaim material systems according to established procedures. Change extrusion screens as trained and authorized. Maintain accurate production documentation and electronic records. Participate in shift handoff communications to ensure a smooth transition between crews. Work cooperatively with team members to support production goals. Communicate effectively with operators, team leads, laboratory personnel, and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. Quality Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process. Perform routine inspections in accordance with established quality procedures. Report defects, abnormalities, or quality concerns immediately. Review production information in operating systems as required. Communicate quality concerns to laboratory personnel, team leads, and supervisors. Follow all quality standards, procedures, and work instructions. Safety Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Use materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Report safety concerns and hazards promptly. Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Basic mechanical aptitude. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn manufacturing processes and equipment operation. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. What's in this for You? Work Environment Manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled year-round . Moderate to loud noise levels are present throughout the facility.
