Job Description

Meherrin River Forest Products is seeking a dependable Debarker Operator to safely operate and monitor sawmill debarking equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the debarker and conveyors. Inspect logs and maintain steady production flow. Report equipment problems and safely clear jams. Perform basic inspections and workplace cleanup. Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Requirements:

Manufacturing, sawmill, or equipment experience preferred. Able to lift 50 pounds and work around dust, noise, heat, and cold. Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime. Must follow all company safety requirements.
