Job Overview

The Production Technician collaborates with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations, improve processes, troubleshoot equipment and production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role helps ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production performance.

A Day In The Life Works alongside production personnel and leadership to troubleshoot problems that arise with the implementation of any of the above tasks.

Assist engineers to identify and implement new tooling.

Work alongside manufacturing engineering to analyze, identify, design and implement improved manufacturing techniques and processes in work cells.

Perform time studies to verify current production sequence documentation is accurate to the actual manufacturing processes.

Work alongside manufacturing engineering to analyze, identify and implement replacement machinery to improve throughput of various production processes.

Aid manufacturing engineering in defining requirements and guidelines for replacement equipment and processes from outside vendors.

Work with production personnel and engineering to provide continuous improvement support to optimize the production process.

What will help you thrive in this role? A minimum of 3 years experience as a technician or operator in a manufacturing environment.

Must be proficient in verbal and written communication

Must be able to lift to 35 pounds

Must be able to stand on the job at least 75% of the time

Must be able to bend, lift, push, or pull without difficulty

Ability to use small hand tools on a daily basis
