Job Summary Under general supervision, test, inspect, troubleshoot, rework, and repair product or related subassemblies to written and/or oral specifications. Key Responsibilities The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Responsible for meeting quality, efficiency, and safety requirements and standards. Operate, test, calibrate, and repair production equipment, products, and related subassemblies as required per specifications and document results with operations and engineering. Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines. Ensure that design, implementation, test, and maintenance methods/processes are developed, as well as executed in a manner which supports all quality standards. Performs root cause investigations on systems/subassemblies using basic troubleshooting techniques. Participate in daily management board. Comply with 6S. Conduct inventory transactions. Report failures via NCE process. Able to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a controlled Clean Room or Dark Room (if applicable). Understand and comply with all work safety rules and regulations and GMP guidelines. Work on special projects as requested. Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed. Work Environment / Physical Requirements Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels. Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials. Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection must be worn. Exposure to blood.
