Process Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Pay:
$23.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential and a $1,000 90-day probation completion bonus .
Hours:
M-F 3:00PM-11:30PM Be a self-starter and work independently. Uses logic and reason in dealing with problems. Adjusts to changing variables in the workplace. Engages others in constructive debate to explore alternative actions. Reaches agreements with others while maintaining perspective regarding longer term relationships. Communicates effectively and concisely in oral and written messages. Ability to be persistent when accomplishing a task or assignment. Acts as a formal or informal leader in the achievement of group targets. Operates pro-actively, anticipating possible problems, opportunities and challenges. Promotes health, safety and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements. Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures. Maintains a safe working environment. Follows all safety rules and procedures. Responsible for visual quality of product. Maintains work station; keeps clean, organized and safe of tripping hazards. Bagger/Strapper Operator
  • Accurately weighs and measures raw materials as required. Boxer Operator
  • Accurately stamps or labels boxes as required. Middle Operator
  • Performs process for splicing into production line surfacing fabrics and film as needed. Maintains the operation of the entire middle section of the line in relation to quality specification and product requirements. Maintains the operation of the press rollers and cooling process of the sheet. Sets up raw materials. Assists for set up in product changes. Coatings Operators
  • Accurately weighs and measures raw materials and fills raw materials as required. Performs other duties as required. For Bagger/Strapper and Mixer Positions
  • Use and proficiency on respective machine computers.
Ability to fill out and complete production and safety paperwork.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
