1000087 Films Business Unit Description Peak Nano is seeking a versatile, cross-functional technician to primarily support our world-class Engineering and Nanolayer Capacitor Film Metrology team, while also providing support to our Extrusion operations. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training across both departments, developing skills and flexibility to contribute wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Exact preparation of test samples according to established procedures using a variety of implements such as precision cutters, laser cutters, sputter coaters, etc. Execution of line in-process inspections and laboratory tests. Understand and use precision inspection instruments including micrometers, drop-gauges, electrical Hipot testers, tensile testers and other typical film property test equipment. Record entry and light analysis of inspection and test data Defect reporting to shift supervision and compilation of inspection results for companywide reporting Adherence to safety protocols during the execution of electrical property testing, heated oil testing, and material handling. Approximately 20% of time may be spent supporting extrusion operations in a manufacturing technician capacity. Adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements during manufacturing support operations. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. when necessary Willingness to learn new test methods and equipment Ability to perform basic math and measurements Experience in a materials testing laboratory or quality assurance environment High attention to detail Strong computer skills, including data entry Excellent written and oral communication skills US Citizenship Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working an off-shift role
Education:
