The Manufacturing Technician's key responsibilities: Demonstrate strong discipline in established procedures and work instructions, ensuring safety, quality, and consistency Recognize and document defects or deviations from specifications, escalating issues to ensure product quality and process integrity Adaptable to evolving team structures, schedules, and responsibilities as operations scale Develop a mechanical understanding of the extrusion process to further career growth within the manufacturing team Establish and maintain organized workspaces that make cleaning, inspection, and daily operations easier and more efficient Support film extrusion operations from tooling or product changeovers to metrology testing and characterization Perform all material handling functions pertaining to raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress
Required Qualifications Education/Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 4+ years' experience in manufacturing Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new skills, concepts, and applications Flexible and capable of adapting to change Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary; remain standing/walking for extended periods of time Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and metrology, if needed Experience with operating a tow motor and/or material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Associate's, or other post-secondary education Plastics processing equipment experience, such as extrusion, cast or blown film, calendaring, injection molding, etc. Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

• Plastics processing equipment : 3 years (Required) extrusion, cast/blown film, calendaring, injection molding: 3 years (Required) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word): 2 years (Required)
Manufacturing:
4 years (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred)
