2nd and 3rd Shift We are currently recruiting skilled Injection Molding Process Technicians for opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift at a premier, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Easton, PA. This is a stable, growing operation looking for dedicated, hands-on problem solvers to optimize production and maintain high quality standards.
Position Summary:
As an Injection Molding Process Technician , you will play a critical role in supporting 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing operations in Easton. You will be responsible for setting up, starting up, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure consistent part quality, efficient cycle times, and stable processing across a wide range of materials and tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Setup & Optimization:
Set up, start up, and troubleshoot injection molding machines. Establish and maintain robust, repeatable processes.
Quality & Defects:
Monitor part quality, identify visual defects (warp, sink, burn, short shots, splay), and make necessary process adjustments.
Material Management:
Work with various materials, including PP, ABS, HDPE, Nylon, and engineered resins.
Tooling & Mechanical:
Perform mold changes, insert changes, and assist with basic preventive maintenance on tooling and machinery.
Documentation:
Keep detailed and accurate records of process parameters, setup sheets, and cycle adjustments.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with production supervisors, QC inspectors, and maintenance teams to meet daily output goals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience (Required).
Technical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills; experience with scientific molding principles (RJG, Paulson, or decoupled molding) is highly preferred.
Machine Familiarity:
Experience operating and troubleshooting a variety of presses (50-700+ ton range preferred).
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret process sheets, setup instructions, and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude.
Independence:
Comfortable and confident working independently on the 2nd or 3rd shift.
Education:
