Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Machinery Mechanic to support production by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting molds used in the manufacturing of food-grade containers. This role is critical to ensure efficient machine operation, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product quality. Key Responsibilities Install, remove, and change molds on production machines Perform mold setups, adjustments, and startups to ensure proper operation Troubleshoot mold and processing issues, including defects, misalignment, or improper forming Perform routine mold maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs Inspect molds for wear, damage, or buildup and report issues as needed Ensure molds are operating within quality standards and producing defect-free products Assist with machine troubleshooting related to molds and tooling Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance Maintain proper documentation for mold changes, maintenance, and repairs Follow all safety procedures and food-grade manufacturing standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred 2+ years of experience with machine maintenance Experience with stamping molds, or similar processes a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and follow technical instructions Technical Skills Knowledge of mold components, tooling systems, and machine interfaces Experience with hand tools, hoists, and mold-changing equipment Understanding of processing parameters and their impact on product quality Repair skills (a plus) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy molds with proper equipment Stand, bend, and move throughout shift Work safely around machinery and lifting devices Work Environment Manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery, heat, and noise Requires use of PPE and adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in food-grade or packaging manufacturing Familiarity with GMP and quality standards Forklift or crane certification (a plus)
