Job Summary The Gas Plant Production Technician operates and maintains ultra-high-purity nitrogen plants, monitors plant processes, troubleshoots equipment, manages cryogenic inventories, and performs preventive maintenance. The role ensures safe and efficient operations while complying with HSE and regulatory requirements. Job Description Start up and operate two ultra-high-purity nitrogen plants (air separation units) Adjust plant operations using process control systems to meet production demands Complete operational and maintenance tasks as part of an onsite team Respond to plant alarms during nights and weekends when on-call Perform daily rounds and readings and calibrate onsite gas analyzers Manage cryogenic tank inventories and customer supply Complete preventative maintenance work orders according to the published schedule Maintain compressors, piping systems, cooling water systems, and facilities Troubleshoot cryogenic gas systems and interpret P&IDs Adhere to all HSE standards and maintain high safety protocols Skills Required 1+ years of related operations experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and operator interface consoles (HMIs) Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or GED Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation Pay Rate/Salary $23.00 - 25.00/hr.
