Job Summary This Production Technician role involves starting up and operating ultra-high-purity nitrogen plants (air separation units) as part of an onsite team, adjusting plant operations to meet production demands while adhering to all HSE standards and maintaining high safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Start up and operate two ultra-high-purity nitrogen plants (air separation units). Adjust plant operations using process control systems to meet production demands. Complete operational and maintenance tasks as part of an onsite team. Respond to plant alarms on nights and weekends when on-call. Perform daily rounds, readings, and calibrate onsite gas analyzers. Manage cryogenic tank inventories and customer supply. Complete preventative maintenance work orders per the published schedule. Maintain compressors, piping systems, cooling water systems, and facilities. Troubleshoot cryogenic gas systems and interpret P&IDs. Adhere to all HSE standards and maintain high safety protocols. Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google software and operator interface consoles (HMIs). Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Required Experience 1 year of related operations experience. Work Environment / Physical Requirements Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
