Coating Line Operator

Job Description

Role Overview We are currently looking for a skilled Coating Line Operator to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This position involves overseeing and managing a production coating line, with a focus on candidates who possess practical knowledge of latex coatings and the ability to configure, run, and fine-tune machinery to satisfy specific production requirements. Compensation for this role is between $24.00 and $30.00 per hour, depending on your experience. Core Duties Configure and manage coating equipment in alignment with established Shop Order/Specification (SOC) guidelines. Ensure optimal machine performance by observing the coating process and performing necessary adjustments. Improve overall output quality by identifying and resolving coating imperfections during active production. Maintain high product standards by consistently monitoring coverage and coating uniformity. Support operational uptime by diagnosing minor mechanical issues and reporting major concerns to maintenance or leadership. Help maintain accurate production documentation through diligent in-process quality checks. Contribute to a secure and organized workplace by adhering to all safety protocols and facility cleanliness standards. Support the team in meeting production deadlines and quality benchmarks through efficient workflow management. Required Skills and Experience Prior background working as a coating line operator within a production facility. Practical expertise working with latex-based coatings is highly desired. Proficiency in machine setup and the ability to modify operating variables to meet technical specifications. Keen observational skills to detect and address potential coating flaws. Solid mechanical understanding and the ability to resolve basic technical problems. Capacity to interpret and execute complex work orders, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures. Previous exposure to converting, laminating, or similar industrial coating processes is considered an asset. Equal Opportunity Employer
