Manufacturing Kenney Manufacturing Company Location:
Warwick, RI Shift:
1st Kenney Manufacturing Company is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Roll Form Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Roll Form Operator will set up, operate, and monitor roll forming equipment used to manufacture metal tubing and rods. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving mechanical problems, and producing products to established quality standards. What You'll Do Set up and operate roll form machinery. Monitor the manufacturing process and troubleshoot metal-forming defects. Make adjustments needed to maintain product quality. Perform quality control checks to confirm products meet specifications. Complete required production and quality documentation. Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S principles. Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors and managers. Work overtime when production requirements make it necessary. Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with manufacturing equipment. Strong attention to quality and detail. Ability to troubleshoot problems and recognize when a process is not operating correctly. Dependability and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to understand and follow safety, quality, and work instructions. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting. Forklift license or forklift experience is a plus. Previous machine operation, roll forming, metalworking, or manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong mechanical skills and the ability to learn.
