Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Will focus on Laser Transmitter manufacturing and works within a cleanroom environment, performing day-to-day operational needs of the business. This position installs, aligns, and operates laser transmitters and components. Not Available Education & Job Requirements- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Must be a United States Citizen. Preferred Skills
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Able to work weekends and evenings as required to meet company objectives Job Duties & Functions
- Develops techniques and procedures for building lasers
- Assembles and tests optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies
- Completes optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with close attention to detail
- Builds wiring harness, solders and performs PCB assembly of electrical and electrooptical subassemblies
- Identifies problems and issues, resolves most issues, and makes recommendations for improvements in yield
- Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed
- Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values
- Performs job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
