Job Description
Physical Therapy Technician / Administrative Assistant Rising Tide Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a motivated, energetic, and compassionate team member to join our growing outpatient physical therapy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, physical therapy, fitness, or medical administration who enjoys working directly with patients while also learning the business side of a private practice. This position is cross-trained, allowing you to gain experience in patient care, front desk operations, marketing, and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care Assist physical therapists with patient flow and treatment setup Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized clinic Clean and sanitize equipment between patients Help patients with exercises under the direction of the physical therapist Ensure patients have an exceptional experience during each visit Front Desk & Administrative Support Welcome and check patients in and out Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify patient information and assist with paperwork Collect payments and maintain accurate records Assist with general office organization and daily operations Marketing & Community Outreach Help create social media content and marketing materials Assist with community events and physician outreach Support patient appreciation initiatives and referral programs Brainstorm new ways to grow the practice and enhance the patient experience Qualifications Friendly, professional, and dependable Excellent communication and customer service skills Willing to take initiative Organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable using computers and learning new software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout the workday Healthcare, fitness, or customer service experience is preferred but not required What We Offer A positive, team-oriented work environment Cross-training in multiple aspects of healthcare and private practice Hands-on experience working alongside licensed physical therapists The chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day If you are someone who enjoys helping others, loves staying busy, and wants to build a career in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you!Pay:
