Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility for the Manufacturing Technician is to build required components while maintaining quality integrity of product. Work well in a team environment while assisting others for the benefit of DFP customers.
JOB DUTIES
Precisely build electrical control panels and wire harnesses and hydraulic assemblies with an emphasis on quality. Read and interpret build documentation, testing procedures and wiring diagrams. Assist integrators in updating build documentation, testing procedures and wiring diagrams. Use hand tools to perform operations such as cutting, crimping, soldering and assembling. Exhibit strong mechanical skills. Assist in inventory cycle count and inventory accuracy. Verify correct materials and quantities are called out on production orders. Contribute to process improvement activities. Other duties as assigned by Management.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with hydraulic or electrical systems a plus; good communication (written & verbal); detail oriented; highly motivated; self-starter; ability to follow a specific order of instruction and sustain a high level of concentration; work in a team orientated environment.
