Rolling Production Line 2nd Shift Van's Kitchen - 3.5 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $16 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Moving Full Job Description Description The Rolling Production Line responsibility is to place wrappers onto rolling machines and inspect the final product to ensure that Van's Kitchen "made from scratch" egg rolls are safely prepared before being moved to the packing department. The Rolling Production Line position plays a crucial role in the food manufacturing process to meet production targets while maintaining product consistency, while keeping a watchful eye on the process to prevent damage to egg rolls
Essential Job Duties:
Monitor the rolling machines operation for safety and quality. Set up required utensils for Rolling line. Uniformly put wrapper on platform to be automatically filled by machine. Quality check at the end of the roller. Mid shift cleaning and pre-sanitation. Wash equipment when finished. Cross train in other areas of the company for fill-in or other assignments when needed. Report any problem with equipment, food safety and quality to supervisors immediately. In the absence of Rolling Production Line, Rolling Lead will cover his/her responsibilities.Competencies & Skills Requirements:
Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Work in a team environment. Required Qualifications & Experience Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Work in a team environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred; one to two years' experience. Experience with Food and Beverage industry preferred. English language preferred. Sanitation Sweep floor, wash the trays, tables, wash carts, short simple conveyor, squeegee the water off the floor, throw out garbage. Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. Physical Requirements While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all equipment of the workstation and other areas as needed. Frequent lifting, bending and twisting. Lifting up to 30 lbs. required to complete daily tasks. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually entire shift. Occasionally required to balance or climb.
