Job Description
Barrels of Fun Pinball Houston, Texas Full time, onsite Position Summary Barrels of Fun Pinball is looking for a hands-on Electrical Production technician to support our electrical engineering and manufacturing teams. This position will manage the daily electrical needs of production, including harness preparation, board programming, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and responding to electrical issues on the production line. The right person will be highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and capable of working independently. This role serves as the first point of contact for routine production electrical issues, allowing our Electrical Engineer to remain focused on design, development, and complex engineering work. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate daily work for the wire harness and electrical assembly team Ensure harnesses, programmed boards, backbox electronics, and related components are ready for production Program, test, label, and organize electronic boards Build, inspect, test, and troubleshoot wire harnesses Respond to electrical problems on the production line Diagnose routine electrical failures and escalate engineering-level problems when necessary Track electrical parts, shortages, and production requirements Maintain accurate electrical documentation, work instructions, test procedures, and change records Assist with training production employees on electrical assembly and testing procedures Work closely with Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Inventory Help prepare new pinball titles for production Maintain an organized and safe electrical work area Qualifications Experience with electrical assembly, electronics manufacturing, wiring, or a related technical field Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions Experience using crimping tools, multimeters, continuity testers, and other basic electrical test equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to prioritize production needs without requiring constant direction Comfortable managing several active tasks and communicating when priorities conflict Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records Experience leading or coordinating a small production team is preferred Helpful Experience Wire harness manufacturing PCB testing or programming Low-voltage electronics Arcade, amusement, automotive, aerospace, or equipment manufacturing Creating work instructions and quality-control procedures Supporting new products as they move from engineering into production Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to use hand tools and perform detailed assembly work Ability to lift and move materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment What We Are Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of daily electrical production needs, communicates problems early, and keeps work moving. Pay:
