About Us United Valley Pet Foods is a leading manufacturer of high-quality pet food products, dedicated to providing nutritious and delicious meals for pets. Based in El Paso, TX, we take pride in our state-of-the-art facility and commitment to excellence in pet nutrition. We are currently seeking a Pet Food Line Operator to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality pet food manufacturing. Maintain production schedules and meet daily output goals. Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime. Assist with daily cleaning and sanitizing machinery and production areas to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Follow safety protocols and food manufacturing regulations, including HACCP and GMP guidelines. Record production data and report any inconsistencies or issues to supervisors. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred:
Experience in pet food production or food processing. Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standards. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
