Kalow Technologies is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Refurbishment Associate to join our refurbishment department in Rutland, Vermont. This hands-on manufacturing position involves restoring used beverage-dispensing machines to a clean, tested, and fully functioning condition. Previous refurbishment, reconditioning, remanufacturing, equipment repair, or closely related experience is strongly preferred. This can be a dirty job . Machines have been previously used and may arrive with residue, buildup, dust, grime, damaged parts, or other conditions requiring thorough cleaning and hands-on work. Candidates must be comfortable working with used equipment and understand that successful refurbishment requires much more than basic cleaning.

Responsibilities include:

Disassemble used machines as required Thoroughly clean and sanitize machines and components Inspect equipment for damage, wear, missing parts, and defects Repair or replace components according to established procedures Accurately reassemble machines Connect and operate machines to complete functional testing Verify water flow, dispensing functions, electrical components, and overall operation Identify and troubleshoot problems discovered during testing Complete detailed final quality inspections Document completed work, defects, replaced components, and test results Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures

Qualifications:

Previous refurbishment, remanufacturing, equipment repair, appliance repair, mechanical assembly, or similar hands-on experience strongly preferred Previous manufacturing experience Ability to test equipment and confirm that it functions correctly Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Exceptional attention to detail Ability to identify small defects, missing components, cleanliness concerns, and performance issues Comfortable thoroughly cleaning dirty, previously used equipment Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards Basic computer and documentation skills Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical duties of the position This position may not be the right fit for someone who: Is uncomfortable thoroughly cleaning dirty or previously used equipment Prefers working only with new, clean components Rushes through detailed inspections or testing Does not enjoy hands-on, repetitive, quality-focused work Quality is extremely important in this department. Every refurbished machine must leave our facility clean, complete, professional-looking, and fully operational. We need someone who takes ownership of their work and will not pass a machine along unless it meets our standards.

Pay:

$17.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience, plus quarterly bonus (must work 40 hours a week to receive bonus every quarter)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00
