Champion high safety and quality standards for both products and personnel.Satellite Integration & Testing:
Perform integration and testing of Leo satellites and complex subassemblies in cleanroom and ESD-controlled environments.Hardware Handling:
Conduct rigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive hardware with precision and care.Precision Tooling:
Utilize calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, optical inspection devices, micrometers, and calipers.Technical Interpretation:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Process Compliance:
Execute work in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and work instructionsNon-Conformance Documentation:
Identify and document non-conformities as required to ensure traceability and corrective action.Digital Systems Use:
Operate computer software programs including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in SAP.Collaboration & Improvement:
Partner with Manufacturing Engineers (ME) to develop, refine, and document activities, driving continuous improvement opportunities.Operational Support:
Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain an efficient, safe, and effective work environmentFlexibility:
Work overtime when required and adapt to working independently or collaboratively within a team.Additional Requirements:
- Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.

1st shift: 6:00am to- 4:30pm Sunday

- Saturday Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive assembly operations Able to climb and down ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. A day in the life The MFG Assembly Technician II is responsible for the assembly of Amazon Leo satellites. You will work closely with engineering, test, quality and operations teams to deliver Amazon Leo production hardware to final integration. Your day will involve hands-on responsibilities such as mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, harnessing connections, fiber optic splicing and testing, requiring attention to detail, precision and adaptability. You'll ensure that every satellite build meets the highest standards of quality, workmanship, and safety, while maintaining strict timelines to support launch schedules.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
high school diploma or equivalent 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches) 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawingsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license CFOT certification or equivalent experience Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience ASE certification or equivalent experience Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware Experience working withFOD, ESD

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
