What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Job Description
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning, parts/inventory management, or supply chain in a manufacturing or critical infrastructure environment
- 4+ years experience in a maintenance role
- Experience using a CMMS or EAM system (e.g., APM, SAP PM, Maximo) for work order and inventory management Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of data center engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
- Experience in data center engineering
- Experience with satellite, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with MRO procurement processes and vendor management
- Demonstrated ability to define requirements and manage execution of small projects independently
- Experience with inventory optimization techniques (ABC analysis, criticality-based stocking)
- Basic competency with data tools (Excel, reporting dashboards) to analyze consumption trends
