Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast Serve food and drinks efficiently, including non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and timing. Process sales transactions smoothly while handling cash and credit card payments with accuracy. Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests positively. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
