The 2nd Shift EMLK Operator (Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and monitoring Electro-Magnetic Leak Key (EMLK) machinery during second shift operations. This position ensures production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards and output targets. The operator is responsible for setting up equipment, performing routine inspections, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Collaboration with maintenance and quality assurance teams is essential to maintain optimal machine performance and product integrity. Schedule 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery (EMLK or similar preferred) Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols Preferred Qualifications Certification or training in manufacturing or machine operation Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with computerized production tracking systems Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics Strong communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities Operate and monitor EMLK machinery during the 2nd shift to ensure continuous production Perform equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain specifications Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve issues Collaborate with maintenance personnel to report and address mechanical problems Maintain accurate production logs and documentation in compliance with company standards Follow all safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement initiatives Skills The required skills enable the operator to efficiently manage EMLK machinery, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are essential for minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment performance. Attention to detail supports accurate inspections and adherence to safety and quality protocols. Preferred skills such as familiarity with computerized tracking systems and technical documentation improve efficiency and accuracy in production reporting.
