Troubleshoot and diagnose routine repair and unique problems preventing vessel readiness and safety. Develop solutions, assign resources, manage costs and analyze trends. Perform all duties consistent with the requirements of the Operating Company and Safety Management System (SMS). Supervise maintenance and repair to optimize vessel availability while protecting asset value Plan and execute complex shipyard and major maintenance projects Ensure vessel regulatory compliance Document actions to support regulatory and institutional requirements Set and monitor vessel operating budgets Prioritize and promote safe work practices Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications
