Dr. Zhe Cheng is seeking a temporary, hourly engineering consultant with great experience & background in electrical, mechanical, or applied physics fields to help design and implement new setups/instrumentation for materials research as well as novel materials processing.

Essential Job Duties:

Design and implement engineering setups or systems for materials research, especially novel materials processing; Guide PhD students with electrical/thermal designs and implementation; and Brainstorm ideas for new research proposals.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in instrumentation for materials research, especially on novel materials characterization and processing.
