Metals Manufacturing Salary:
$70k-$80k/yr. We are seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing processes, metallurgical operations, and continuous improvement within a specialty metals manufacturing environment. This role will provide technical support to production, customers, suppliers, and internal teams while developing and maintaining efficient processes that meet customer and industry requirements.
Job Duties:
Establish, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, standards, and procedures.

Review customer requirements and specifications to determine manufacturing capabilities.

Provide technical and metallurgical support to customers and internal teams.

Support production by troubleshooting process issues and ensuring material meets requirements.

Investigate nonconforming material, customer complaints, and root causes, implementing corrective actions.

Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Work with Production and Maintenance to improve equipment utilization and material routing.

Monitor and maintain pyrometry standards for production furnaces.

Support capital projects and new product development initiatives.

Develop and manage trial processes for new customer products.

Perform metallographic analysis and statistical process monitoring as needed.

Provide technical support to raw material and outside processing suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering/Science, or related field.

Experience working in an AS9100 and NADCAP certified environment.

Metals processing experience required.

Experience working with Nickel, Titanium, and/or Cobalt materials required.

Knowledge of thermal processing, cold working, and metal processing.

Experience with process optimization and statistical methods.#INC1
