Job Description

Metallurgical Engineer Join our team as a Metallurgical Engineer supporting the development, validation, and continuous improvement of large engine components and metallurgical processes. This position works closely with facility teams, suppliers, purchasing, and engineering groups to provide technical guidance, perform failure analysis, and ensure product quality.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Perform failure analysis on engine components and systems. Conduct metallurgical evaluations, product audits, and PPAP sample reviews. Assess components for metallurgical conformance and quality requirements. Support process improvements and supplier validation activities. Evaluate new products, processes, and systems for feasibility and compliance. Communicate technical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years of relevant engineering experience. Failure analysis, weld analysis, NDT inspection, or casting/fastener evaluation experience. knowledge of CAT specifications, technical drawings, and metallurgical procedures. Hands-on welding experience is a plus.
