  • This is a hands-on, lab-based stretch opportunity located
  • in person at the Packaging Testing Lab in Melville, NY
  • . You will play a critical role in generating the experimental backbone for our fragrance-packaging compatibility intelligence platform.
  • Day-to-Day Activities
  • + Prepare sample sets - labels on plastic plaques, adhesive joints for plastic bonding, fragrance ingredient-plastic + Accurately weigh and document material changes over time + Measure dimensional shifts using lab tools + Visually assess and record physical appearance changes + Track time-dependent effects (Week 1 → Week 4 and beyond) + Measure separation force and tensile properties on an Instron machine + Maintain organized, high-quality lab documentation •Qualifications•Preferred Skills•+ Background or interest in Packaging, Material Science, Chemistry, or Engineering + Experience handling lab equipment (Instron Tensile testing machine, balances, calipers, visual inspection tools) + Familiarity with polymers or plastics + Curiosity about adhesives and fragrance chemistry •Experiences That Matter•+ Lab-based testing or experimental work + Quality evaluation or materials testing + Work involving structured data collectionEqual Opportunity Employer It is Company's policy not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
